Yes, it was an original set. 2 years ago I couldn't imagine saying this, but I'm starting to enjoy the original sets better than the replicated ones. Mattsen/Eaton have really grown in a way that the previous line-up never did. I've seen DSO in other locations too, and they really seem to turn it up a notch when they are in SF. Other highlights were a jam at the end of Feel like a Stranger that went on forever (in the good way), a gorgeous Visions of Johanna near the end of the second set, and Werewolves of London encore with Eaton playing better slide guitar than Bobby ever did in the 1978 versions.

I have yet to be blown away by an original setlist of theirs. But you cant argue with a BS > TOO > BS. I'm still bitter about missing 1973-12-02 over the summer. I missed my chance at seeing a morning dew. With only one drummer! FML!!
